Savage & Cooke – Digits Bourbon Whiskey (75cl, 46%)

Digits is a straight bourbon in a 750ml bottle, bottled at 46% ABV. It was created by six-time NBA champion Scottie Pippen with winemaker Dave Phinney, and blended by Savage & Cooke Master Distiller Jordan Via. The barrels were selected by Pippen and Phinney from Indiana and Tennessee, then aged and blended on Mare Island in Vallejo, California. The youngest bourbon in the blend is five years old, and the mash bill is 75% corn, 21% rye and 4% malted barley. The label wraps three images of Pippen's hand around the bottle. The nose is doughy, with sandalwood and almond cookie. On the palate come vanilla bean, caramel, molasses, clover honey, buttered toast and maple, soft and velvety, and the finish is lightly sweet with nougat and honey.
