Sazerac 18 Year Old is a Kentucky straight rye whiskey in a 750ml bottle, bottled at 45% ABV. The name comes from the Sazerac Coffee House, founded in 1850 on Exchange Alley in New Orleans and known as the home of the Sazerac cocktail.
This rye has spent 18 years maturing and was released in autumn 2024.
It is described as mellow in spice, with a dry sweetness and notes of oak, leather, molasses and allspice. The long, warm finish brings mint, eucalyptus, cinnamon, vanilla and lingering pepper.
