Sazerac 6 Year Old is a straight rye whiskey bottled at 45% abv, in a 700ml bottle.
It takes its name from the Sazerac Coffee House in New Orleans, the birthplace of the Sazerac cocktail. The rye tradition behind it goes back to the 1800s, when saloons posing as coffee houses lined the city's streets. The whiskey is produced at the Buffalo Trace distillery.
