Sazerac Rye in a 200ml bottle is an American rye whiskey that draws on the history of New Orleans. The style dates back to the 1800s, when saloons posing as coffee houses began to line the city's streets. At the Sazerac Coffee House on Royal Street, patrons were served toddies made with rye whiskey and Peychaud's Bitters. The drink became known as the Sazerac, regarded as America's first branded cocktail.
