Scallywag Speyside Blended Malt Winter Edition 2022 (1L, 48%)

Scallywag Winter Edition 2022 is a Speyside blended malt Scotch whisky from independent bottler Douglas Laing, released in its Remarkable Regional Malts series. It is the third release in the Winter Edition line, bottled in 2022 at 48% in a 1 litre bottle. The whisky is matured entirely in Spanish sherry casks. It is non-chill-filtered, with no added colour, and was released in a limited run of 5400 bottles. The nose has candied cherries and dark chocolate. The palate brings winter spices such as cinnamon, nutmeg and ginger. The finish is long, with spiced oak and freshly baked fruit cake soaked in sherry.
