This is a blended Scotch whisky, bottled at 40% in a 75cl bottle and produced by Burn Stewart Distillers.
It is made from more than 40 grain and single malt whiskies, including spirit from Tobermory distillery, all matured in bourbon casks before blending. The recipe goes back to the Ross Brothers, blenders in Dumbarton in the late 19th century.
The nose offers barley malt, honey, praline and vanilla, with a soft smokiness in the background. The palate is bittersweet and smooth, with creamed honey, orange peel, caramel and nuts. The finish is medium, dry and mellow, with vanilla, orange, oak and a little black pepper.
