Se Busca Mezcal Reposado (75cl)

Se Busca Reposado is a small-batch mezcal made from hand-harvested 100% Espadin agave at the family-run Lopez Sosa distillery in San Juan del Rio, Oaxaca. Water comes from a local mountain spring near the distillery. The agave is slow-roasted with indirect heat, then crushed by a tahona stone driven by horses, which keeps the smoke from overpowering the flavour of the agave. The mezcal rests for at least two months in French oak ex-Sherry casks. The nose offers vanilla, coconut, oak, white flowers and mesquite. On the palate there are coconut, cooked agave, vanilla, sweet almonds and hazelnuts, followed by a full-bodied, sweet finish.
