Distillery
Bladnoch
Region
Lowland
Type
Single Malt Whisky
Cask Type
Sherry hogshead
A single cask, cask strength single malt sold as Secret Lowland. Contractual obligations prevent the label from naming the distillery, but it is Bladnoch, one of the smaller and older distilleries in Scotland. It matured for its whole life in an LVJ sherry hogshead, so there is no finish, and it tastes surprisingly mature for its age.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
