Secret Speyside 30 Year Old (70cl, 49.2%)

This is a 30-year-old Speyside single malt from an undisclosed distillery, bottled at full cask strength, 49.2%. The label reads Uisge-Beatha Rolls Royce, loosely translated as the Rolls Royce of whisky. Just 120 bottles were filled, and each comes in a bamboo wooden box with brass hinges and a magnetic closure. The cask was bought in 2018. That year 72 bottles were filled at 26 years old, and the rest was moved into a first-fill PX quarter cask. The nose is a fresh breeze of fine sherry sweetness and spice.
