Sheep Dip Vatted Malt Scotch Whisky (70cl, 40%)

Sheep Dip is a small-batch blended malt Scotch whisky, bottled at 40% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It brings together 16 malt whiskies from across the Highlands, Speyside and the Islands, and was originally developed by master blender Richard Paterson for Spencerfield Spirit Company. The name nods to Scottish farmers who once disguised illicit whisky as agricultural sheep dip to avoid excise duties. The nose offers melon, pear and orange with delicate floral notes, marzipan and oak spice. The palate is rich and malt-forward, with buttery toffee, dried fruits, honey and vanilla. The finish is creamy and vanilla-sweet, with soft malt and a faint hint of bonfire smoke.
