Shibui Pure Malt is a blended malt that brings together Japanese and Scotch whisky. It is made from 100% malted barley, fermented with yeast and distilled in double copper pot stills, and bottled at 43% ABV.
The whisky is matured in ex-bourbon casks, Oloroso sherry casks and Mizunara oak.
Candied walnuts, coffee, chocolate-covered raisins, oak and spice are the flavours it is known for, and it is described as a smooth dram.
