A barley shochu from Shinozaki Co. Ltd, located in Fukuoka prefecture in the northern part of Kyushu Island. It was aged for four years in oak and made using spring water from a well throughout the process. The producer is known for a wide range of alcoholic beverages including seishu, shochu and amazake. This shochu won a Gold Medal at Monde Selection for 13 consecutive years and Two Stars at the International Taste & Quality Institute in 2008.
