This is a 31-year-old blended malt called Sideburn, bottled in 2025 by Decadent Drinks for the Decadent Drams range as an edition for Germany. It marries two casks held in Dufftown: a refill barrel from 1992 and a first-fill barrel from 1993.
The vatted whisky was gently reduced in the cask to 50.3%.
It is described as a honey bomb, rich and golden in the glass, with waxy sweetness, green and yellow fruit, ripe pears and summer-warm honey.
