Siete Leguas 47 Blanco High Proof Tequila (47%)

A high-proof blanco tequila from Casa Siete Leguas, bottled at 47% ABV. It is made from 100% estate-grown Blue Weber agave, baked in brick ovens, crushed by tahona, fermented and pot-distilled, and left unfiltered. The nose is bright and agave-forward, with cooked and raw agave, herbaceous grass, mineral flint, black pepper, citrus rind, mint or herbal accents and a hint of anise. The palate is silky yet lively, with pure agave sweetness, peppery spice, an earthy and mineral backbone, citrus brightness and vegetal or minty layers. The finish is firm and lingering, with black pepper, citrus peel, agave fruit, minerality and brine.
