Signal Hill Canadian Whisky blends corn and barley with water from Newfoundland. It is bottled at 40% ABV in a 750ml bottle and is non-chill filtered.
The whisky is aged in three kinds of barrel: ex-Canadian whisky barrels, new white oak and bourbon barrels.
The nose offers vanilla, dark caramel, sponge toffee and dried fruit, with gentle clove and cinnamon and soft oak. The palate opens with sweet corn, toffee and crème caramel before moving to molasses, ginger snap and baking spice, with a slightly oily texture. The finish is medium, sweet with caramel and toffee, and a little oak dryness and spice.
