This is a Glen Spey single malt from Speyside, distilled in 2015 and bottled by Signatory Vintage after nine years. It matured in first-fill Oloroso sherry butts and is bottled at 57.1%, which is 100 proof. It is non-chill filtered and has no added colouring.
The nose brings raisins, figs and plums with dark chocolate, roasted nuts, mocha, cinnamon and clove. On the palate there is sweet dried fruit, dates and caramel, with nutmeg, pepper, almonds, walnuts and orange peel. The finish is long and warming, with raisin, fig, soft oak tannins and cocoa, ending lightly drying.
