The nose opens with ripe apple, dried apricot and soft peach, with vanilla, honey and light caramel behind, and a little toasted almond. On the palate it is full and silky, with ripe orchard fruit, honey, vanilla and soft toffee, then orange peel and light spice. The finish is long and warming, with dried fruit, vanilla and oak, supported by a light spiciness.
