Silkie The Legendary Blended Irish Whiskey

Silkie The Legendary is a blended Irish whiskey from Donegal, in the north-west of Ireland. Silkie is the brand, The Ardara is the name of the distillery, and both sit under Sliabh Liag Distillers, a fairly new Irish distillery. The name comes from local folklore. The Silkies of the Donegal coast are shapeshifters who shed their sealskins to become sea maidens with long dark hair and beautiful voices.
