Silkie 'The Midnight' Stout Cask Matured Irish Whiskey

This is an Irish whiskey from Silkie, matured in stout casks. Silkie is the brand name of The Ardara, a fairly new distillery in Donegal in north-western Ireland, which sits under the Sliabh Liag Distillers umbrella. The name comes from the silkies of the Donegal coast, mythical shapeshifters who shed their sealskin coats to become enchanting sea maidens with long dark hair and beautiful voices.
