Singleton Glen Ord 15 Year Old is part of the 2022 Special Releases, a yearly collection of Scotch whisky bottlings that took its inspiration that year from the creatures of Scottish myth. This single malt is bottled at 54.2% in a 70cl bottle.
It was finished for eight years in ex-wine casks, which bring subtle wine and fruit notes alongside the rich character of the distillery.
The colour is a deep, glossy amber. The nose offers orange, peach and raspberry, with aromatic oak and gentle spice. The texture is creamy, with buttery notes and a hint of sponge cake that return in the finish.
