This is a 13-year-old Glen Ord from Speyside, bottled by Scotch Universe from a single first-fill bourbon barrel. It was distilled in 2012 and bottled in 2026 at a cask strength of 53.1%, non-chill-filtered and without added colouring. It is not a smoky whisky.
The nose combines fine grassy and herbal notes with pineapple and Galia melon. Spice stays in front on the palate, with the fruit giving a contrast. A touch of fresh Moroccan mint leads into a medium-length finish that is grassy and herbal, with a restrained sweetness.
