Singleton of Glendullan 19 Year Old is a single malt from Diageo's 2021 Special Releases, in a 70cl bottle. It was bottled at 19 years of age.
The whisky was first matured in refill American oak casks, then finished in Cognac casks. The Cognac influence is described as seasoning the whisky rather than overwhelming it.
The nose has dried fruits, toffee, pastry and a waxy note like cheese rind. The palate is spicy with black pepper and cinnamon, creamy and waxy in texture. The finish is very long, with orange peel and a little dark chocolate.
