Skellig Small Batch is an Irish whiskey from the Skellig Six18 Distillery in Cahersiveen, County Kerry, which was founded in 2019. It is triple distilled and bottled at 40% in a 70cl bottle.
The whiskey is finished in Pedro Ximénez sherry casks. It is chill-filtered and has added colour.
The nose offers warm honey, dried figs and candied fruit, followed on the palate by dark chocolate, roasted nuts and a fine touch of pepper. The finish is gently sweet and stays spicy.
