Slaintheva H.Q. Club Special is a Scotch single malt from the 1960s, in a 75.7cl bottle at 35% ABV.
The nose is light and honeyed, with heather honey, old oak, toasted pastry, orange peel, floral notes, soft butter and a faint hint of fresh peach. The palate is light-bodied and fluid, with damp earth, citrus, light vanilla, toasted caramel and a distant echo of peat smoke. The finish is medium to long and subtle, earthy and lightly sweet, ending with a touch of white pepper.
