Smoke Wagon Blenders Select Straight Rye Whiskey Batch 1C (75cl, 58.9%)

Smoke Wagon Blenders Select is a straight rye whiskey, bottled at 58.9% ABV in a 75cl bottle. This is batch 1C, bottled on 31 May 2023. It is a blend of two ryes: a barrel of a sweeter, more delicate mash of 51% rye, 45% corn and 4% barley, and barrels of a bolder mash of 51% rye and 49% malted barley. The flavour is upfront, sweet and rich, with a full mouthfeel. The finish brings cinnamon and rye spice, while smoke and malt from the malted barley stay present but softer.
