Smoke Wagon Straight Bourbon is a high rye bourbon first released in autumn 2019, in a 75cl bottle at 46.25% ABV. It is non-chill-filtered.
The barrels were racked on the top two floors of the warehouse and never rotated. Those floors get hotter in summer, so the spirit expands and moves further into the wood, and leaving the barrels in place avoids harsh tannin.
It is described as delicately sweet, with a spicy, nutty rye finish.
