Smokestack Heavily Peated Blended Malt (46%)

Smokestack is a heavily peated blended malt made from casks of Islay and Highland whisky, each chosen for its smoky character. It has a phenol level of around 30 ppm and is bottled at 46%. Sweet and salty notes balance on the palate, with a big smoky flavour running throughout. The nose is sweet peat smoke, creamy vanilla, soft citrus and a hint of iodine, with ginger lingering. On the palate the smoke grows denser and drier as the spice sweetens in an oily texture, with floral honey. The finish is long and dry.
