Southern Star – Cask Strength Straight Bourbon Whiskey

Southern Star Cask Strength is a straight bourbon bottled at barrel proof, with no added water and without chill filtration. It is deep amber in colour, with copper highlights. The nose is caramel, vanilla and oak. The palate is full-bodied and powerful, with butterscotch, toffee and brown sugar, layers of baking spices, cinnamon and black pepper, and hints of dark fruit, toasted oak and leather. The finish is long and warming, with lingering sweetness and spice.
