Spencer Collings 50th Anniversary Mannochmore 2011 Muscat Cask (70cl, 59.6%)

A single malt from Mannochmore in Speyside, distilled in 2011 and bottled by Spencer Collings at a cask strength of 59.6% in a 70cl bottle. It is natural in colour and non-chill-filtered, with an outturn of 253 bottles. The release is part of the 50th Anniversary Collection, marking Mike Collings' 50 years in the whisky industry. He matured it in a custom-made Muscat cask before bottling. The nose has butterscotch, sweet malt, gentle oak and fortified fruit, with a freshness and autumn fruits. The palate is oily and creamy, with honey, sweet oak and drying tannins at the end. The finish is long.
