This is a single cask Speyside malt from the Speyside Distillery, distilled in 1990 and bottled in 2016 after 25 years. It was matured in an American oak barrel, number 27, and bottled at a cask strength of 55.1% ABV. The cask yielded 250 bottles, each of 70cl, without added colouring or chill-filtering. The distillery closed in May 2025.
The nose offers ripe fruit, honey, vanilla and fine spice with oak spice alongside. The palate brings caramel, dried fruit, malt and dark chocolate, and the finish is long and warm.
