Spey Fumare Overture is a lightly peated Speyside single malt from Speyside Distillery, matured in bourbon barrels and bottled in 2022 at 46% ABV in a 70cl bottle. A fine note of peat smoke runs through it. Production was 1,500 bottles, and it is non-chill-filtered with no added colouring.
The nose brings light smoke, vanilla, honey and fresh fruit. The palate shows sweet malt, spice, citrus and gentle smokiness, and the finish is medium in length and pleasantly spicy.
