A Speyside single malt from the Speyside Distillery, owned by Harvey's of Edinburgh, bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle.
The whisky is first matured in bourbon casks, then finished for six months in Tawny Port casks. The finish gives it a subtle ruby tint and a lively, fruity profile.
The distillery stands in the Cairngorms. It began as a barley mill and farm dating back to the 18th century, closed in 1965, and was slowly converted to make single malt, producing its first whisky on Christmas Day 1990.
