Spey Trutina is a single malt Scotch from Speyside Distillery, released at the end of 2016 as part of the SPEY range. It was matured in bourbon casks, and its name comes from a Latin way of expressing balance.
The release was an outturn of 18,000 bottles, bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle.
Tasting notes mention almonds, buttered bread and orchard blossom, with a fresh, refreshing feel. The finish is medium in length, with notes of candied peel.
