Spey Trutina is a single malt Scotch whisky aged in bourbon casks and bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle. The name comes from a Latin word meaning 'balance'. The whisky is pale gold in colour.
Grassy aromas on the nose open out into apple and citrus blossom. The palate starts out much like a grain-heavy blend, then the finish brings more malt intensity, with texture, spice and apple fruitiness coming forward.
