Speyburn 18 Year Old is a single malt from the Speyburn Distillery in Rothes, in Scotland's Speyside region. It is bottled at 46% in a 750ml bottle.
The whisky spent eighteen years maturing in a combination of American oak and Spanish oak casks. It is non-chill-filtered and in natural colour.
The nose offers dried fruit, honey, vanilla, toasted almonds and subtle spice. On the palate come rich caramel, baked apple, oak spice, dark honey and roasted nuts, and the finish is long and smooth, with warming spice, oak and lingering sweetness.
