Speyburn Bradan Orach is a Speyside single malt from the Speyburn distillery in Rothes. The name is Gaelic for Golden Salmon, a symbol tied to the distillery and the nearby River Spey. It is bottled at 40% ABV in a 750ml bottle.
The whisky is matured mainly in American oak ex-bourbon casks.
The nose brings honey, green apple, vanilla, citrus zest and light floral notes. The palate has sweet malt, baked apple, caramel, vanilla and soft spice. The finish is smooth and clean, with lingering honey, oak and gentle sweetness.
