Speyside Distillery – 25 Year Old 1995/2020 Lord of Speyside (70cl, 49.6%)

A 25-year-old single malt from Speyside Distillery, part of the Lord of Speyside series. It was distilled in 1995 and bottled in 2020, having spent its whole maturation in a single Oloroso sherry cask. Bottled at a cask strength of 49.6%, it is non-chill-filtered and natural in colour, with 250 bottles drawn from the cask. The nose shows sherry notes, dried fruit, raisins and creamy chocolate. The palate is full, with dried fruit, nutty flavours and a creamy sweetness, leading to a long, warming finish of fruit, raisins and milky coffee.
