The malt was finished in first-fill Pedro Ximénez sherry butts.
Dates, figs and raisins lead the nose, followed by creamy caramel and leather. The palate is full and velvety, with toffee, molasses and ripe plums, then marzipan and toasted almonds. The finish is long and soft, with walnuts, dark chocolate and dried fruit.
