Springbank – 10 Year Old Amontillado Cask Strength 2024 (70cl, 55%)

Springbank 10 Year Old Amontillado is the third edition in a five-part Sherry Series from the Campbeltown distillery, bottled at a cask strength of 55% in a 70cl bottle. It spent five years in bourbon casks, followed by a further five years in Amontillado sherry casks. The nose is earthy and musty, with hazelnut, maraschino cherries and blood orange. The palate has cured meats, gorse and tobacco box, balanced by coconut and treacle sweetness. The finish is dry, with wood shavings and tarragon.
