This bottling of a 10-year-old Springbank was produced using Optic barley grown in the immediate vicinity of Campbeltown. The entire production process took place directly at the distillery, using traditional artisanal methods. The whisky was distilled in 2009 and bottled in 2019 in a run of 9,000 bottles.
