A 14 year old Springbank from 1998, matured in fresh bourbon and port butts and bottled for the Springbank Society. It is a Campbeltown single malt in a 70cl bottle.
Springbank is the only distillery in Scotland to malt, distil, mature and bottle on the same site. Its own malt is medium-peated and is partially triple-distilled, after very long ferments of over 100 hours. The distillery has been in the hands of the Mitchell family and its ancestors since 1837.
