Springbank – 1969/2001 31 Year Old Signatory Vintage Vintage Collection Dumpy (70cl, 50.1%)

This is a single-cask Springbank from Campbeltown, distilled on 30 September 1969 and bottled on 14 February 2001 by Signatory Vintage. It comes from the Vintage Collection Dumpy series. The whisky matured for 31 years in cask #1688 and was bottled at a natural strength of 50.1% ABV. 228 bottles were filled. Springbank was established in 1828 and remains independent. It floor malts its own barley and fires its stills directly. Its long-aged whiskies are described as combining maritime influence, gentle peat and rich flavour.
