Springbank 5 Year Old 100 Proof is a Campbeltown single malt from the 2025 edition, bottled at 57.1% ABV. It is non-chill-filtered and has no added colouring.
Springbank is one of the last family-owned companies in Campbeltown, and it malts its barley on its own floors and carries out distilling, maturing and bottling itself. This is a limited release.
The nose brings peat smoke, sea air, a little iodine and an oily, mineral note, with dried fruit, vanilla and light spice. On the palate expect peat smoke, salted caramel, dark chocolate and honey, with pepper and clove. The finish is long and warming, with smoke, salt and a touch of citrus.
