Springbank 5 Year Old 100 Proof is a Campbeltown single malt bottled at 57.1%, the traditional British 100 proof strength. Springbank was founded in Campbeltown in 1828.
It was matured entirely in bourbon casks, which bring vanilla, gentle sweetness and orchard fruit alongside a mineral, maritime and lightly smoky character.
The nose offers green apples, wine gums, gorse flowers and mineral freshness. On the palate, gentle peat smoke meets icing sugar and white chocolate, then tomato leaf, sunflower seeds and linseed oil. The finish is honeyed, with tart gooseberries and a trace of coastal character.
