Springbank Fino Cask 10 Years Old is a 2025 edition from Campbeltown, bottled at 55% in a 70cl bottle.
The whole ten years were spent in carefully selected Fino sherry casks. Springbank malts, distils and bottles on site, and this whisky was distilled two and a half times. It is non-chill filtered and of natural colour.
The nose is precise, with lemon, green apple, fresh almond and malted biscuit, plus iodine and beeswax. The palate starts dry, then brings citrus and orchard fruit, nuts, white pepper and sea spray. The finish is long and salty, with lemon peel, fresh walnut and a little smoke.
