Spumante Extra Dry IGT Vollì

A sparkling wine from Vollì, with fine, continuous perlage and a bright straw colour. The aroma recalls white-fleshed fruit and light white flowers, with a citrus note that brings freshness. On the palate it is balanced between enveloping softness and lively acidity. The light sweetness typical of Extra Dry is well judged and does not overwhelm the clean finish, leaving a quick but pleasant drinkability. It works well as an aperitif and is versatile at table, accompanying finger food, not-too-rich fish dishes, shellfish, fresh cheeses, lightly spiced dishes and simple desserts. Served well chilled in a flute, it highlights the liveliness of the bubbles.
