St Bridget's Kirk Solera Batch 3 Peated Blended Malt (70cl, 48.5%)

This is a peated blended malt bottled at 48.5% ABV in a 70cl bottle, put together by Hannah Whisky Merchants as batch number 3 of the St Bridget's Kirk Cask Solera System. It is one of 218 bottles. The whisky is a blend of different distilleries and differing spirit styles. It comes from a warehouse solera in which several barrels are connected: when whisky is drawn from the last barrel, the first is topped up, and the casks develop new, deeper flavours. The result is described as a balance of smoke and sherry notes.
