This is an aged rhum agricole from Martinique, made only from fresh sugar cane juice. The cane comes from plantations on the island.
It is aged in oak casks, an ageing known as sous bois, which adds depth and complexity and balances freshness with maturity.
The palate brings tropical fruit such as pineapple and mango, then sweet spices and wood, with vanilla and caramel. It can be enjoyed neat, over ice or in cocktails such as Ti' Punch.
