This is a 1982 St. Magdalene, a Lowland single malt released in the Glenkeir Treasures range at a cask strength of 59.1% ABV. It was distilled in September 1982, matured for 26 years and bottled in January 2009.
The nose is rich vanilla with hints of sawdust and oak. The palate is smooth with a medium texture, showing nectarine, avocado, finger lime, pineapple, lemongrass and pandan, in a grassy, creamy Lowland style. The finish is mid-long, with lingering fruity and woody notes.
