Stagg Jr 25B is a Kentucky straight bourbon whiskey in a 750ml bottle, bottled uncut and unfiltered at 63.45% ABV, or 126.9 proof. It ages for nearly a decade, and its bold character recalls George T. Stagg, who built the most dominant American distillery of the 19th century during the Gilded Age of bourbon.
The palate is rich and sweet, with chocolate and brown sugar balanced against a bold rye spiciness. The long finish carries hints of cherries, cloves and smoke.
